Tico Culture
The Tico identity can best be described as Costa Rican considering themselves Central American or Latin American, only secondarily. Tico’s are very proud of their country and see Costa Rica as a beacon of hope. The history of Tico culture dates back hundreds of years and is rooted in appreciation of Costa Rica’s natural environment and agricultural heritage.
