The back of the Castillo de Pavones. From this angle you can only see the top half of the six level structure perched up on the hill infront of the famous point break wave. Walk down the hill, from the Castillo, and in five minutes your feet are in the water of the ocean and river (Rio Claro)

The squirrel monkeys are one of the 5 species of monkeys that we see around the Castillo de Pavones. These monkeys come into our yard all the time and can be seen from your suite.

Our resident mother sloth lives in the trees right next to the Castillo. She is spotted daily, and we will help you find her from your suite or balcony. Her baby is also in the trees , alone and without her now, free to slowly roam and eat the leaves.
